The 2021 cast of SwingShift & the Stars was unveiled on Thursday August 26th at the Grand Traverse Event Center on Garfield Avenue. This year's incredible line-up includes:? AC Paw with dance team Marti Johnson & Kellen Blackburn who will dance the swing for the September shows and lip sync darlings, Philip & Melissa Smith, will perform in November, ? Cognition - Science & Discovery Center, has selected Clover Keyes Roy & Larry Avery to rhumba their way into your hearts in September and Rich Brauer & friends to delight audiences with their lip sync skills in November, ? Love Thy Neighbor - Grand Traverse, offers the admirable talents of Kendra Peterson & Tarren Thomas as their September Night -Club dancers and proudly presents Dawnette Wessell and her team of lip sync divas to compete in November’s events.Also, new and exciting this season, will be SwingShift and the Stars: Beyond the Competition, sponsored by Bill & Susie Janis! The Zonta Club of Midland is pleased to announce that the Zonta Homewalk will be held in December with in-person and virtual tour options. The in-person tours will be December 4th and 5th from 1 - 5 pm and the virtual tours will be available December 4th – 31st. One ticket provides access to both! The 40th Homewalk celebration includes five spectacular Midland area homes including one that was featured in the very first tour. The 2021 event has the flexibility of in-person and virtual tours so that everyone can participate. Zonta is partnering with Tridge Media Productions for the home videos which will include home information and history that may not be available during the in-person tours. Please join us for the Christmas in Kalkaska Holiday Craft Show featuring a gym filled with unique and one-of-a-kind holiday gift giving and home decorating items on Saturday, December 4th. We're at the Kalkaska Middle School (please enter via the W. Dresden St parking lot) from 10 am to 4 pm. Stop by the cafeteria from 10 am to noon for Cookies with Santa.
